Transcript: Application of the grounds for suspension and expulsion: All out-of-school suspensions are routinely reported to law enfourcement agencies, including the probation office and law enfourcement. Don't share passwords and you are not allowed to access another person's files without their permission. SAL is designated to provide an alternative to a suspension. They can do counseling with students, conferencing with parents, assign work, rearrange schedules, require a student to stay after school to complete work or counseling. They can also restrict the student's athletics or extracurricular activities, remove a student from a noncredit school activity. A student can also be assigned to a special course, alternative education, or alternative school. School staff may also remove a student from school sponsored transportation. A student can also be removed from school if the student is ill, has a communicable disease, or is infested with parasites. You can also be removed if you don't get your immunizations.
