Morning ~ First thing a nurse would do is talk to the previous nurse about patients and review records of them. Then we would get on preparations like look over patients test that will be happening that day, work on schedules with doctors and check emails. After that we would get on setting up the eguiptment. Once thats set up we would call and ask about are patients test and make sure they will be on schedule. As time goes on patients are checked on and vitals are taken. Threw all of this we are taking detailed data. We are always along side the doctor to assist in whichever way the particular situation is. Mid-day ~ By this time it is lunch time so we would be sitting down and eating a healthy meal. But remember we are nurses so this healthy meal can be interrupted anytime. If you were to ask any nurse they would tell you that it is a very hectic job and no two days are the same. Afternoon ~ As the day goes on more patients are dealt with. By this time we are tired and wann go home. We get a breather between emergencied, appointments, testing and scheduling. We continue to see patients and check ICU procedures. By the end of the day we are left almost entirely depleted of energy. My opinion... My opinion... I love being a nurse but it can be very overwhelming and hectic. I enjoy the fact that I can leave at the end of every day and know I did something to help someone. On the other hand you have to be prepared for anything that comes through that door and have to be prepared for something to go very wrong. Sometimes it can become hard if you connect well with a person and something happens. It is also what I love to do, its my passion. Advice... My advice to you is to always be positive and always be caring. Listen to the patients. Always think how they are feeling act like you were in there shoes. At the end of the day you can tell yourself that you helped people in need.

"Summary." U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, n.d. Web. 06 May 2016. The standard minimum age for those who wish to apply for a license is between 16 to 18 years old. Flexible schedules as a CNA allow students to work part time while finishing their high school education and continuing their education on to a community or four year university. While some states do allow licensure as early as 16 years of age, certain employers may not hire you until you are at least 18. This is important to keep in mind as your license may be suspended if you do not meet minimum employment requirements for maintaining your license in your state. In order to work in any area of nursing, you will need to have a clean record. You will eventually be screened to ensure you are free of criminal convictions, chemical dependency and drug abuse, mental health conditions, and medical conditions that may hinder your ability to perform your job. Criminal convictions include misdemeanors and felonies, and you may have convictions regardless of whether you have spent time in jail. Criminal convictions will show up on your fingerprint check even if it has been expunged, sealed, dismissed, dropped, or closed. This is why it's important to reveal any convictions you have when asked. Minor violations, such as traffic tickets, citations, or juvenile offenses may not disqualify you from getting your license. Violations that happened seven to ten years prior may also be forgiven if you have had a clean record ever since.
