With the help of FOCUS, Optimus has improved data collection such as creating SQL dashboards. o Formalizing policies and procedures specific to HIV/AIDS and HepC testing and linkage to care on an organizational level. o Auto alerts for new positives Q3. lessons learned from participating in the FOCUS program Q3. o The logistical hurdles of expanding testing sites: operations, planning and documentation. o Inadvertently over testing – In our annual screening labs, providers have a pre-checked list of lab screenings and if Hep C is not unchecked those who do not need this annual testing will automatically get it. Q4. Review of data Q4. o Due to lack of historical FOCUS data we are not currently able to fully analysis data for trends. However, in 2021 our estimated average monthly testing for HIV was 200 and HCV monthly test averaged 80. o 2021 - New HIV diagnosis total 5. HepC new dx was 10 (9 - Hx of of IVDU: 1 - Unknown contration). o 2022 Bi-annual - New HIV+ total 5. HepC new cases total 2 (both hx IVDU). Note: All new diagnosis were from standard screenings and none from POC testing. Q5. Impact of telehealth? Q5. o Telehealth has allowed additional flexibility, which in turn increased treatment compliance and accessibility. In general, FOCUS program has impowered our Ryan White program and our organization. It helped solidify testing and linkage along with improved data management and reporting. First topic Mise en Place Second topic Recipe Place a pizza stone on a rack in the lower third of your oven. Preheat the oven to 475°F for at least 30 minutes, preferably an hour. If you don't have a pizza stone, you can use a pizza pan or a thick baking sheet; you need something that will not warp at high temperatures.Remove the plastic cover from the dough. Dust your hands with flour and push the dough down so it deflates a bit. Divide the dough in half.Form 2 round balls of dough. Place each in its own bowl, cover with plastic and let sit for 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours. Prepare your desired toppings. Note that you are not going to want to load up each pizza with a lot of toppings as the crust will end up not crisp that way.About a third a cup each of tomato sauce and cheese would be sufficient for one pizza. One to two mushrooms thinly sliced will cover a pizza.Working one ball of dough at a time, take one ball of dough and flatten it with your hands on a lightly floured work surface.Starting at the center and working outwards, use your fingertips to press the dough to 1/2-inch thick. Use your fingertips to press down and make dents along the surface of the dough to prevent bubbling. Brush the top of the dough with olive oil (to prevent it from getting soggy from the toppings). Let rest another 10 to 15 minutes.Lightly sprinkle your pizza peel (or flat baking sheet) with cornmeal. (The corn meal will act as little ball bearings to help move the pizza from the pizza peel into the oven.)Spoon on the tomato sauce, sprinkle with cheese, and place your desired toppings on the pizza. Be careful not to overload the pizza with too many toppings, or your pizza will be soggy.Bake pizza in the 475°F oven, one at a time, until the crust is browned and the cheese is golden, about 10 to 15 minutes. In order for a situation or circumstance to be classified as trafficking it has to fall under at least two of these three categories: Coercion: threats of serious harm psychological manipulation shame and fear induces threats Force: physical harm physical restraint sexual assualt confinedment Fraud: false promises of work, wages, or living conditions withholding wages contract fraud Pop Culture's Influence Pop Culture's Influence Pop culture glorifes, glamorizes, and endorses commerical sex and sex trafficking. We have become so desensitized to an issue that enslaves so many around the world. Some examples include: music, movies, books, fashion, jokes, common sayings; just to name a few Pimp Culture One of the most popular terms that pop culture has glamorized is the term "pimp". Many rappers use it in their song lyrics. It celebrates, glamorizes, and normalizes a lifestyle of people who as a whole control, dominate, degrade, devalue, subjugate, and brutally abuse women physically and psychologically. Why Is This Important? Why Is This Important? A quote from Exodus Cry, "Though sex trafficking is a deeply disturbing injustice, its existence is not all that shocking in light of the way much of our world views sexuality." The mindset of "sex sells" is a driving force behind the commercial sex industry. Not pushing the boundraies of stigmas and stereotypes only makes combating sex trafficking harder. Women aren't objects that are to be bought one day and to be discared the next. So What's the Soultion? So What's the Soultion? We have to make conscious changes in order to set counter culture. We need to is see the value and humanity of the individual. Let the cycle stop with you! Actively choose to change your mindset. We need to have the boldness to lovingly challenge other's way of thinking. Create and support laws that bring freedom to victims. Power in numbers! Change starts when we all come together.
