Transcript: I do not know what my future holds I want to be rich but not famous Not famous but also not faceless I see myself achieving all of my goals The path to success will take a lot out of me But if income is the outcome then let it be In the future I will find happiness Full of wealth and brightness Math 3 was a breeze But then Precalculus came along When it came to math I was no longer at ease The period felt more than an hour and a half long During the class I was so bored I could not stay awake I slept so well I probably snored I expected all math classes to be a piece of cake Precalculus was quite the opposite We went through new content like a roller coaster So fast I felt I would vomit Oh and the teacher I could not stand her Despite all my troubles I have learned greatly from these struggles The Season worth living for Sean Nguyen I wake up in the morning at precisely six I then take a hot, soothing shower I brush my teeth and get dressed I eat my breakfast and head to school I endure the long, brutal hours of school I, then, go home only to work on homework I go to sleep soon after I am done I wake up in the morning at precisely six First Birthday What My Future Holds As I get older and older I come to realize all my dad has done for me He has given me some of the greatest advice He has taught me that nothing comes free He has taught me what it is to sacrifice He has taught me the virtue of patience He has taught me how to have common sense He has prepared me for all situations I hope to be everything he represents It was my first birthday Oh how I cannot remember a thing My mom lies and tells me it was just okay Oh how joyful it must have been She says there was a part Full of friends and family My sister was yet to be born Those are the day I mourn Oh how I cannot remember a thing How joyful it must have been When it was time to sing I'm sure I was smiling Oh how I cannot remember a thing How joyful it must have been A Reflection of my Dad We sit in classrooms for a long time I find myself going berserk Trying to keep up with all of this homework By the time we get home there is not much day time I count the days until summertime Every day at school is like clockwork I constantly watch the clock hands jerk I wonder did I commit a crime Although I dislike school it is a must Without it my future would be uncertain Those who enjoy school Their reasons are just I would much rather sleep in But I must go to school or risk becoming a fool Reasons To Dislike School The shining sun glares The warmth from the sun warms me I love it so much Nature is thriving There is no nor any snow My favorite time Although I may sweat I prefer it over the cold What a great season My First B The Uneventful Life of Sean Nguyen Poetry Project
