Transcript: Why I Chose This The total cost of the year is about $43,185.00. This is way more fee than in-state tuition. Because in-state tuition is about $27,045.00 and that is a little compared to the out of-state tuition. The School Location Main Subjects The main subjects for architecture is math and science. More math is involved with this career and since more math is involved I would have to take more math courses. Some classes that I need to take is design school. Lot of math courses. Building design course. admissions The Money This school is located out of state. It is located in Ithaca, New York, United States. That is pretty far from Georgia. School Fight Song You must submit your scores for either the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT with Writing. Some of our undergraduate colleges/schools also have specific requirements for the SAT Subject Tests. A formal interview is required for those applying to the School of Hotel Administration and the architecture program in Architecture, Art, and Planning. You also need to send lot of random applications. The lyrics to the Cornell Alma Mater are: Far above Cayuga's waters With its waves of blue Stands our noble Alma Mater Glorious to view (Refrain) Lift the chorus Speed it onward Loud her praises tell Hail to thee our Alma Mater Hail, all hail, Cornell! Far above the busy humming Of the bustling town Reared against the arch of heaven Looks she proudly down (Refrain) Sentry-like o'er lake and valley Towers her regal form Watch and ward forever keeping Braving time and storm So through clouds of doubt and darkness Gleams her beacon light Fault and error clear revealing Blazing forth the right To the glory of her founder Rise her stately walls May her sons pay equal tribute Whene'er duty calls When the moments swiftly fleeting Ages roll between Many yet unborn shall hail her Alma Mater, Queen! In the music of the waters As they glide along In the murmur of the breezes With their whispered song In the tuneful chorus blending With each pealing bell One refrain seems oft repeated Hail, all hail, Cornell Here, by flood and foaming torrent Gorge and rocky dell Pledge we faith and homage ever To our loved Cornell. May time ne'er efface the memory Of her natal day And her name and fame be honored Far and wide alway! I chosed this college because this was the best college for a undergraduate architect. It was ranked number one in the country for undergraduates. christian guardado Cornell University

Students also frequently ask us what we are looking for in the application essays they submit. Here are tips to consider: Tip #1: Give careful thought to the questions asked, but don’t try to write the answers that you think we want to hear; give us the answers that tell us about you. Tip #2: In your essay, help us understand your thoughts and feelings about something that is important to you. Transcript: Cornell University Cornell is consistently ranked among the top twenty universities in the world in a variety of rankings. Cornell has 36 varsity intercollegiate teams that have the nickname of the Big Red. An NCAA Division I institution, Cornell is a member of the Ivy League and ECAC Hockey and competes in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), the largest athletic conference in North America.[232] James Lynah (1881 – February 24, 1956) was an American businessman and sports administrator who is considered the principal founder of the Eastern College Athletic Conference. James Lynah, 1905, of Savannah, Georgia, was elected captain of the 1904 eleven at a meeting, held on Monday, of the men who won their Varsity letter in the Princeton and Pennsylvania games. Lynah came to Cornell a year ago from Clemson College. South Carolina, and during the Fall has been substitute quarterback and fullback on the Varsity eleven. In '97 he captained the Savannah, Ga., high school team and in 1900 and 1901 played right end and right halfback on the Clemson College team. He is a member of Sigma Phi fraternity and is a candidate for the degree of electrical engineer. 1902: Dissent on campus among the students over the college's rigid military discipline and overcrowding in the barracks, among other things, leads to in-fighting between the student body and faculty, some of whom, it becomes obvious, are hated by the cadets. Senior James Lynah ill-advisedly steals a turkey from the yard of history professor W.S. Morrison and his graduation is held up. The senior class petitions the faculty to let him graduate. The senate cannot muster the three-fourths majority required to expell Lynah during its January 22-January 23 meeting, but suspends the cadet indefinitely. The secret proceedings of the meeting become known to the students within the day, revealing that at least one faculty member, sympathetic to the students, leaked the debate. An outraged President Henry Simms Hartzog calls a special meeting of the professors and denounces the "eavesdroppers or traitors in the Faculty" and describes "the condition of affairs" as "annoying, serious, and disgraceful." Eventually, Lynah is allowed to graduate, and becomes a loyal alumnus Unofficial mascot is a bear sometimes named "Touchdown" Mascot: Motto Admissions Established: Family History Location Ithaca, NY, USA Location: Of those admitted, the average SAT Verbal score was 700, while the average SAT Math was a 720. 1865 A Cornell education prepares students for life's journey. Senator Ezra Cornell offered his farm in Ithaca, New York as a site and $500,000 of his personal fortune as an initial endowment. Fellow senator and experienced educator Andrew Dickson White agreed to be the first president. During the next three years, White oversaw the construction of the initial two buildings and traveled around the globe to attract students and faculty.[10] The university was inaugurated on October 7, 1868, and 412 men were enrolled the next day.[11] Diane Kubarek, Cornell University, www.cornell.edu, N.P, 10 January 2012 Academics
