Transcript: 4. Working Girl Growing up, I didn't allowance because money was tight, so I’ve always wanted my own income. When I got my first job at Taco Bell on my 16th birthday, I thought it was the best present. For the next summers, I picked up trash at the county fair and scooped ice cream at Baskin Robbins. I used my savings to start an investment account and asked my dad to cosign with me for my first credit card.
